An Elsan tank is a storage solution that contains a special liner to withstand corrosive chemical agents often used in portable toilets.

How does an Elsan tank work?
Elsan tanks, often referred to as ‘Elsan disposal points’ are most often used in caravan and campsites for the disposal of chemical toilet waste.
Guests of the park have facilities to empty chemical toilets where the fluid is released into an underground tank.
The tanks come in a number of sizes to satisfy the requirements of the smallest or largest of campsites or marinas and require emptying by a specialist waste disposal company when full.
