Premier Tech launches a unique service for the on-site sanitation market

Premier Tech Water and Environment has developed a process and unique tools to extract accumulated sludge in fixed-culture aerated septic systems. These systems include Bionest-type installations.

The process is an effective, fast, and economical solution which is patent pending due to its innovative characteristics.

On-site septic systems treat wastewater from homes that are not connected to municipal sewage systems. Some on-site systems have built-in automatic extraction devices that prevent sludge from accumulating at the bottom of the tank. This helps maintain the efficiency of the system by stopping sludge buildup on the filtering media and the tank's surface.

An effective way to increase the longevity of an installation

Premier Tech's new extraction process aims to prevent pollution resulting from the accumulation of sludge. It also maximizes the lifespan of the subsurface area in which treated wastewater is dispersed. By eliminating the need to prematurely replace this area, we avoid damage to a client's landscaping, protect system components, and reduce long-term costs.

A service offer based on this process will be launched on the global market. Homeowners in Québec will be the first to benefit from it, as it was developed through Premier Tech's network of local partners in this region.

“As part of the development and validation phases, many clients have already been able to enjoy this new service and restore their systems' operating conditions. That means they have made savings by extending the lifespan of their systems. We have received great feedback!” says Nicolas Robitaille, senior director of products and services development at Premier Tech Water and Environment.
